Career opportunities within the GloPID-R Secretariat: Media Manager and Communications & Engagement Manager

The GloPID-R Secretariat is seeking candidates to fill two part-time positions in communications at the Charité Center for Global Health in Berlin.

GloPID-R is a worldwide alliance of funders of research in infectious diseases with pandemic potential. To support its work to improve the coordination of research funders and increase the efficiency of funding for emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, the GloPID-R Secretariat is recruiting candidates for part-time positions as Media Manager and Communications & Engagement Manager.

The ideal candidates will have Master´s degrees in relevant fields, as well as demonstrated experience in communication strategies within the framework of global health, with full proficiency in written and spoken German and English. They will work in close collaboration with the Scientific and Advocacy Director and Head of Operations on the Charité campus.

Both roles will play a vital part in shaping and implementing communication strategies to enhance GloPID-R’s global health initiatives, facilitate relations with members and stakeholders, and promote awareness and engagement to increase GloPID-R’s visibility within the scientific community. 

The GloPID-R Secretariat is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
