ZonMwGrant calls from ZonMw
GloPID-R member ZonMw has announced new grant calls within their ‘Pandemic preparedness knowledge’ program open to applicants affiliated to Dutch and Caribbean research organizations.
‘Incentive boost for pandemic preparedness’ covers research on pandemic resilience, immunology and pathogenesis for pathogens with pandemic potential, pandemic preparedness in the Caribbean and development of and research on innovative ideas in relation to pandemic preparedness. The total budget is €1M and applications can be made until January 15, 2024. The grants are a maximum of €50,000 per application and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The aim of the grant call ‘FAIR data for Pandemic Preparedness’ is to improve the discoverability, accessibility, interchangeability and reusability (FAIR) of individual data sources relevant to preparedness. The total budget is €200,000 and the application deadline is January 15, 2024. The grants are a maximum of €50,000 per application and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The upcoming call ‘Modelling for Pandemic Preparedness: a call for innovation and knowledge development’ will open in November 2023.
The focus of the call is the development of modelling knowledge and innovation in the field of pandemic preparedness and infectious disease control. The maximum amount per grant application is €500,000 and the total available budget in this grant round is €6.5M.
