Update on Pandemic PACT

With a new page on the GloPID-R website and a key meeting of RRNA collaborators held in September, Pandemic PACT is making steady progress towards the launch of its state-of-the-art research tracking tool in late 2023.

Currently, an external web supplier is working on developing the Pandemic PACT Grant Tracker, which will be followed by user testing. The team will also be user testing with the PACT Advisory Group and data technical leads within member funding organizations.

All interested funders are kindly requested to express their choices for sharing data to feed into the tool.

The Pandemic Preparedness: Analytical Capacity and Funding Tracking Programme is a four-year initiative to develop a tool with the research and analytical capability to collate and analyze global funding data for a wide range of epidemic-prone diseases and broader epidemic and pandemic research preparedness activities on an ongoing basis to inform effective funding decision-making. PACT will support the coordination of research preparedness and research responses during new epidemics and pandemics (especially across LMICs).
