GloPID-R General Assembly to take place in London in April 2020

GloPID-R will hold its 8th General Assembly on April 29 and 30, 2020 in London. The event will be hosted by Wellcome Trust, a valued and committed member of the initiative.

The 2020 meeting follows last year’s Assembly in Japan where a new dynamic was launched with the validation of the revised GloPID-R strategy. Since then, Members have been working on concrete actions that will be presented during the London meeting. This Assembly, with the participation of almost all the 28 Members of GloPID-R, will aim at reinforcing common actions to improve research preparedness for emerging pathogens and to better coordinate response in case of an outbreak.
