In January 2024, Pasteur Network member Institut Pasteur de Dakar inaugurated the Centre for Africa’s Resilience to Epidemics (CARE).
AFROSCREEN meeting of the Pasteur Network in Dakar
The “AFROSCREEN – Perennisation de la surveillance génomique dans le Pasteur Network” meeting was held online and in person in Dakar in December 2023. Different facets of the AFROSCREEN project were discussed such as the sequencing analysis strategy, methodological approaches for molecular typing, setting up equipment and training, and the evolution of SARS-CoV-2 variants.
A new Board for the Pasteur Network
Following the January 2024 elections, the Pasteur Network welcomes the members of its new Board, comprising both newly elected and re-elected regional representatives alongside two externally nominated members.
