COVID CIRCLE: Celebrating 2 years of achievements
On January 19, 2023, an online event was organized by UKCDR and GloPID-R to review the lessons learnt and achievements of COVID CIRCLE (COVID-19 Research Coordination and Learning Initiative).
Active from 2020, this joint initiative by UKCDR and GloPID-R provided key insights and recommendations using evidence on the research response during the pandemic from funders and researchers, with a particular focus on LMIC settings. Among COVID CIRCLE’s key outputs were the Covid-19 Research Project Tracker, which has paved the way for Pandemic PACT, and the associated Living Mapping Review (LMR) of COVID-19 funded research projects. The 10th and final iteration of the LMR will be published in March 2023.
