New Call for Proposals to evaluate fractional COVID-19 booster and third doses

CEPI, a GloPID-R observer, has launched a new Call for Proposals (CfP) to evaluate fractional COVID-19 booster and third doses. The aim is to fund several clinical trials looking at dose-sparing booster shots for different COVID-19 vaccine candidates.

This approach could play an important role in stretching the global vaccine supply and increasing access to doses in underserved regions. Applications are invited from consortia and individual organisations (including COVID-19 vaccine developers) interested in conducting clinical trials to assess and compare the safety, reactogenicity and immunogenicity of fractional and full doses of COVID-19 vaccines among primed populations (either via full or partial vaccination or natural infection).
