Pandemic PACT’s Outbreak Pages

In response to new or re-emerging outbreaks, the Pandemic PACT team has developed real-time tracking and analysis of outbreak research data by collating existing data from their database and intensifying their collection efforts.

The result of these efforts is:

  • Outbreak-specific visualisations, mapped according to Pandemic PACT research categories and specific outbreak research priorities as outlined in any outbreak-specific research agendas and roadmaps
  • Detailed outbreak reports
  • In-depth analyses of the clinical trials landscape related to the outbreak

With this up-to-date tracking, Pandemic PACT enables a global audience to identify research gaps, monitor progress, and enhance decision-making and coordination of limited research funds during emergencies.

Pandemic PACT is currently responding to three outbreaks – mpox in Africa, H5N1 in cattle in the USA, and, most recently, the Marburg virus outbreak in Rwanda.
