ISIDOReOpen Call for Proposals: Free Access to ISIDORe facilities
ISIDORe preparedness calls for proposals are multidisciplinary and open to all scientists (EU and international) from both academia and the private sector.
To help prevent future pandemics, and advance the development of appropriate medical countermeasures, the ISIDORe preparedness programme includes a priority list of epidemic-prone preparedness pathogens clustered into four calls for proposals to support research on:
- Risk-Group 4 pathogens (CCHF, Ebola, Marburg, Nipah, Hendra, and Lassa viruses, “New world arenaviruses”)
- Respiratory Pathogens (zoonotic betacoronaviruses, Influenza A, Y. pestis, M. tuberculosis/bovis, C. burnetii)
- Vector-borne Pathogens (Rift valley fever, Zika, Chikungunya, West Nile, Dengue, Japanese encephalitis, Yellow fever, and Tick-borne encephalitis viruses, Plasmodium, B. burgdorferi, Leishmania)
- Other pathogens with epidemic potential (pathogen X, Orthopoxviruses, Polio and non-polio enteroviruses)
Proposals must require access to at least one of the ISIDORe services and be aligned with at least one of the sections presented on the calls webpage.
Due to high demand, projects will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ve already allocated more than 75% of our total budget, so do not miss this opportunity!
