ISIDOReISIDORe calls for proposal for free access to research services and resources: Monkeypox Virus and SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Integrated Services for Infectious Disease Outbreak Research (ISIDORe) provides free access to a unique portfolio of cutting-edge research services and resources to study epidemic-prone pathogens.

Its calls are open to scientists both from academia and the private sector worldwide.

Apply to ISIDORe 2nd Monkeypox virus call

On July 23, 2022, WHO declared the ongoing Monkeypox outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).

Based on the need for further research response to better address and control the ongoing Monkeypox virus outbreak, the Integrated Services for Infectious Disease Outbreak Research (ISIDORe) consortium, has launched a second call for proposals to support scientists with an interest in Monkeypox virus research by providing free access to the ISIDORe resources.

Your request for free of charge access to ISIDORe capacities must be focused on one of the topics listed on the website within following sections: Surveillance, Transmission and Epidemic Risk Management; MPXV Natural History; Diagnostics; Vaccines; Social Sciences & Epidemiology.

Deadline for pre-applications: November 29, 2022

Apply to ISIDORe SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 call

Applications for free of charge access to ISIDORe services for supporting and advancing research must be focused on one of the topics highlighted on the ISIDORe website calls section.

More than 75 pre-applications were received since the launch of the call and several projects have already been implemented.

Deadline for pre-applications: applications are evaluated, selected and implemented on a rolling basis as long as funding remains available.

ISIDORe upcoming preparedness calls for proposals

In line with its mission, ISIDORe will soon launch preparedness-driven calls for proposals. We will offer the full spectrum of our services to support infectious disease research projects dedicated to specific categories of epidemic-prone pathogens. This will include Arboviruses, Risk Group 4 Pathogens, non-SARS-CoV-2 Respiratory Viruses such as SARS, MERS, as well as Disease X.
