Our Response

GloPID-R mobilized its members to discuss the yellow fever outbreak in Angola and several other African countries where there was a risk of a temporary shortage of available vaccines. It developed a working group that evaluated the effectiveness of fractional dosing. Now that the outbreak is under control, the group is no longer active but remains ready to engage if the need arises.
